As supreme has recently concluded the seasonal collection, I thought it would be appropriate to reminisce on FW16. Supreme always release a wide range of items from the ‘S logo crewneck’ to the ‘brick’…
The collaborations this season has been fire. Supreme had teamed up with Araki, whom is a Japanese erotic and aesthetic photographer, to create T-shirts and hoodies with images of orchids that are beautiful yet seductive.LS Orchid Tee – Pink
The other main collaboration was the annual North Face X Supreme. Every year they never seem disappoint. The main theme this season was the leafy camo and hi-vis orange. As usual the classic Nuptse Jacket but also a Mountain Light Jacket. The collaboration also included other items such as light shoes, trousers and a bag. I like how the combining mesh of colour from the leaves form a camouflage perspective.

At 11:00 am a thousands, dare I say millions of people get their hopes shattered when they lose in the competitive race to gain a box logo. I can honestly say that seeing a ‘SOLD OUT’ banner hover over my much desired item is the cause of my frustration and anger. Nowadays the classic refresh and autofill isn’t enough, unless you have a bot you unfortunately have nothing. Anyway…The colour scheme for the FW16 supreme bogo’s was an interesting mix of: pastel colours, neutral’s and camo. The ‘peach’ and the ‘mint’ coloured hoodies where my personal favourite, as I thought they were a refreshing colour the brand.

A supreme collection wouldn’t be the same if it didn’t contain a number or useless and utterly random items. This year customers were displayed bricks, flood lights and noodle bowls.
Excluding the stuff above, supreme did release some lit items such as the zippo lighter. The iridescence of the lighter is very original and the engraved ‘Supreme’ is a very nice touch.
